Should
Should is used to give advice or opinions.
eg. The teacher should be more patient with the students.
Should is usually used after I think / I don’t think / Do you think…?
eg. I don’t think she should continue her career in advertising.
Should is not as strong as must or have to.
We can use should in the following situations:
- when something is not right or it is not what you expect
I wonder why she is here. She should be at school.
- when we expect something to happen
He’s been working so hard for the Olympics, he should win.
